My mission is to promote positive change, one person at a time, and I am fortunate to have realized this mission over and over during my career.
My background includes a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership, 20 years leading at an executive level and 30+ years as a Human Resources practitioner. I have had the privilege of working for regional, national and international companies such as ComDoc, Global Imaging and Xerox. I'm so pleased to also be affiliated with Giombetti Associates and Heart to Heart Leadership. I believe in giving back to my community and have volunteered for stellar organizations such as Malone University, the Women's Impact Group, the Pro Football Hall of Fame and most recently, Whispering Grace Horses.
I have created and facilitated programs for new and emerging leaders, for those in the midst of their leadership journey, for executives preparing the way for their successors and for women in business. I have coached hundreds of successful individuals across the United States, Canada, South America and Europe. I am especially proud to have co-created the Developing Leaders of Tomorrow program for Green High School, which was gifted to the school in honor of ComDoc's 50th year in business and ran for over 10 years.
I am a Wiley Certified DiSC® Trainer, and have utilized their products for leadership, coaching and mentoring, customer service training, culture development and individual growth since 2004. I am proud to have been designated an Authorized Partner in 2021.
First and most importantly, I'm a Follower of Jesus Christ, who "strengthens me." I'm a servant leader who believes that my success is driven by seeing you succeed. I'm a wife, a stepmom, and "Nonna" to three amazing little girls (including a brand-new one)! God has blessed my life in so many ways!
I've always had a love of animals and they seem to be drawn to me, too. Our current animal kingdom includes 4 stray cats who have adopted our corner of the neighborhood and who we (and our neighbors) jointly care for. We also fostered a different litter of 5 and found homes for 4 of them. The 5th one, Grayson, decided he couldn't leave my husband so he now lives inside with us.
Although my career kept me in the office most of the time, I prefer to be outside. I love to garden and especially enjoy working with herbs and flowers. And, of course, I always have to find time to visit with the outside animals!
I can't sit still for long, but when I do, I'm usually curled up with my Bible or a funny book. Janet Evanovich, Sue Grafton and Nora Roberts are some of my favorites and when I re-read their novels, I feel like I’m visiting old friends.
In 2005, I wanted to lessen the harsh and toxic chemicals that I was using to clean myself and my home, so I became a doTERRA Consultant. If you're interested in creating a healthier environment for yourself and your family, check out my doTERRA website!
Andrea has had a prolific impact on not only my personal career development throughout the years. Also has helped me unlock the abilities that I have always had to help others succeed and grow within their career paths.
I have known Andrea both professionally and personally for many years. Andrea has an innate ability to view situations holistically, ask the tough questions, and offer thoughtful solutions and opportunities for growth. She listens intentionally and provides great insights. She is a joy to work with and know.
Andrea is a rare, talented and amazing individual. Her strong ethics, warm character, high emotional intelligence and impeccable business acumen makes her an invaluable ally. I was lucky enough to have met Andrea and work closely with her during a 1-year development program and believe me when I say that this is an experience you don’t want to miss.
Andrea has an innate ability to help sales professionals understand their career objectives. Not only does she seek to understand both their professional and personal goals but through her leadership, positive energy and training experience she helps to develop individuals in planning their journey and the necessary course to become leaders within an organization. I am forever grateful for the years I spent learning and receiving mentorship from Andrea. She is a true teacher and an inspiration.
I had the pleasure of having Andrea as a coach/mentor while participating in a leadership development program. Andrea helped me make the transition from being a manager to being a leader. She also helped me identify my blind spots when it comes to self-development and developing others.
Andrea pours her heart and soul into developing talent and encouraging each individual to reach their potential. She inspired a group of like minded ladies through relationship building and connections even though we were miles apart. I highly recommend working with Andrea, you will not be disappointed!
I had the pleasure of meeting Andrea while in college. She was using her time to give back to the local business students in her community to provide insight and advice. From that meeting, I ended up at the same company and working under her leadership for a few years. She always had an open door and was eager to help in anyway possible. She started a leadership program to invest in our internal talent. The program was a huge success! Andrea is someone who you can go to with confidence and know that she is truly listening and cares to help. I highly recommend her coaching and the opportunity to meet a great leader!
I had the opportunity to work with Andrea during my time at my first corporate job after working at smaller companies. I was surprised to find that someone was in a role focused on exploring individual potential and nurturing different types of talent. During several group sessions emphasizing service leadership that included people from many different roles withing the company, Andrea helped us understand ourselves more fully with the idea that it would help us succeed not only in our current individual roles but educate us in ways to lead and serve with empathy, morality, and confidence. Eight years after meeting her I still think of Andrea when weighing decisions in my business and personal life because she was integral in teaching me that these two lives intersect and compliment one another. I am a better person and professional due to having the opportunity to work with her.
I was fortunate enough about 6-7 years ago that a coworker recommend that I reach out to Andrea to be a mentor, after getting the go ahead from my Manager, we set up our first meeting. Not only does Andrea have the business savvy to help you grow but her instincts in seeing between the lines and THEN making you see between the lines is incredible.
She made me really dig deep to see things I could easily change/adjust in my day to day but also allowed me the time to work on the not so easy things.
She had me opening up to her like I truly haven’t done with anyone, without judgement but an openness that I felt comfortable talking with her!
All these years later, I am lucky and proud to call Andrea a mentor but more fortunate…..a friend!
What makes Andrea a great coach is her infectious positive attitude and her ability to help the mentee define clear next steps to achieve their goals. When I previously worked with her, I felt she had an excellent understanding of my current abilities and future career goals. She helped me expand my comfort zone by coaching with actionable steps that lead to increased confidence and experience.
I have had the pleasure of participating in multiple leadership programs led by Andrea as well as one-on-one coaching. Even in group settings, I was impressed by Andrea's unique ability to make the experience feel completely personalized. Andrea leans into each individual's strengths and potential rather than pushing the societal definition of a leader. Our sessions were filled with thought provoking discussion which challenged me to look at myself in completely new ways. She is energetic, approachable and extremely passionate about her work. The tools Andrea provided me with gave me the confidence to navigate nearly every professional situation. I feel extremely fortunate to have had her influence and guidance over the course of the first 9 years of my career.

I was so honored to join Lyn Sabino and Lisa Waite at the 2024 Women's Impact Empowerment Day Conference. We combined our expertise to create a unique learning opportunity for members and non-members alike. Special thanks to our event coordinator, Jolene Colant, for her leadership and assistance in helping us prep!
What happens when you bring 25 spirit-filled women together? MAGIC!
We took the Women's Positivity Conference on the road to beautiful Lakeside, Ohio for a deep dive into wellness and self-care. Bodies were soothed and pampered, minds were stimulated and spirits were refreshed. And on top of that, friendships were renewed and formed!
Our next event is on 4/4/25 -- looking forward to seeing you there!
It was exciting to meet hardware store owner and author Gina Schaefer and facilitate a breakout session for her at the 2024 Ohio Employee Ownership Conference. She is an inspiration and I hope to see her at future ESOP events!
I was honored to nominate and present my colleague and friend, Lisa Waite, for the 2024 Women’s Impact Awards on April 13th. This award honors people in our community who encourage women to “Unleash their Power and Realize their Potential.” Lisa has been a big part of helping to shape me as a leader, and it was a true reward to be able to give back to her by sharing this special moment with her and her family. Congratulations to all of the 2024 Honorees!!!
The 2nd Women’s Positivity Conference was another smashing success.
One of the speakers was unable to join due to illness so I was asked to pinch-hit in her place.
Stay tuned for more . . . we’ll be back in the fall of 2024 with the Women’s Positivity Retreat at none other than Lakeside, Ohio!
Along with Rachel Crane, Christina Miner and Shirley Smith, I participated in a panel discussion on Emotional Intelligence. The event was held by Athena Akron at Portage Country Club.
I had the honor of moderating Q & A sessions at the Buckeye Book Fair. For an avid reader like me, having a chance to pick the brains of authors was a treat!
With my buddy, Jeremy Lile from Heart to Heart Leadership, I co-facilitated a workshop on Leading from Within. This workshop was held at beautiful Lakeside, Ohio, my home away from home.
My dear friend Lisa Waite and I co-facilitated a workshop using Everything DiSC. This event was also held at Lakeside, Ohio.
Whispering Grace Horses is where I spent every Monday night in the summers of 2023 and 2024 as a volunteer. These horses bring joy and healing to children and veterans who are in need and I must say, to me as well.
This handsome guy is Hawkeye!
I had the privilege of being the opening speaker for the Women's Positivity Conference. So proud of my friend Chris Miner for selling out this event her very first year of holding it!
